Leo is co-founder and CEO of Moscar Capital. He’s involved in all aspects of the business, including strategic development, portfolio management and investor relations. Leo has led investment across technology, media, finance and real estate.

Prior to establishing Moscar Capital, Leo managed regulated investments for his longstanding HNWI and Corporate clients. Due to his expertise and extensive network within corporate wealth management, he naturally progressed to sourcing and investing in series A and B growth capital opportunities. Leo remains FCA authorised and is a member of the London Institute of Banking and Finance.


tim marchant – cio

Tim is co-founder and CIO of Moscar Capital. He’s an experienced fund specialist with more than 15 years’ experience across various structures, domiciles and regulatory regimes. Tim has spent many years deeply involved with Series A & B company analysis with a focus on governance and transparency. Operating as lead, he has recently been researching and allocating growth capital investments for a sizable London family office.

Previously Tim ran a systematic quant fund for many years. This experience allows for a practical understanding of big data, programming and machine learning. This knowledge is becoming increasingly important when analysing tech-based investments for feasibility. Traditional analysis is aided by a mathematical education and earning both CFA & CAIA qualifications.


george pearce
business development

George is the Business Development Manager for Moscar Capital, responsible for sourcing Limited Partners into the fund and identifying future investments. With almost 15 years fundraising experience across a range of positions and sectors, George has shown consistent performance and adept account management in both B2B and B2C roles.

George has secured funds and worked alongside companies such as HSBC, Barclays, Unilever, Disney and Accenture. Over the last 4 years George has worked predominantly in the High Net Worth area, securing direct investments into private equity as well as investment funds.

Barnaby is a member of the 3-seat investment committee of Moscar Capital. His main roles are to provide analysis of investee companies and to use his network to source exciting new targets. Barnaby has made numerous early stage investments over the last 10 years and brings a wealth of experience in this field.

Barnaby’s investment capital came from an exceptionally successful career as a futures trader starting in the late 1990’s. He brings attention to detail in such areas as risk management, fundamental macro analysis and statistical projections. He has spent the last few years mentoring investee companies in growth & governance strategies..
